WORD FROM THE SENIOR LEADERSHIP

2025 has been a big year for CCH, marked by change and transition, yet filled with clear evidence of God’s hand at work in the life of our church.

Bec, Sammy, Patricia and Josh stepped down from their roles. We are blessed to have had each of them serve.

This meant there were significant changes to staff roles and responsibilities.

Our youth ministry remains unstaffed, and our youth group has merged with Awesome Rock. This is another example of CCH strengthening relationships with other local churches.

We welcomed Alex and Paul onto staff, taking on responsibility for Children’s Ministry and Financial Management respectively. We also welcomed Brendan as the leader of our Communities. All three have seamlessly stepped into their roles, and we are already seeing the fruit of their leadership as they outwork their responsibilities.

We invited Margie, Dave and Tom to join with the Elders in forming the Senior Leadership Team (SLT). The SLT’s primary role is to ensure that CCH continues to have strong, spiritual and wise leadership following Pastor Josh’s transition from the role of Lead Pastor.

We are so thankful for Kerrie (Pastoral Care) and Kat (Administration), for their continued service, and for taking on more responsibility.

We’re so grateful to our CCH family, for the gracious way you have handled all the changes in 2025.

As we head into 2026, we know God will continue to be with us just as He has been in the past. Together, let’s walk hand in hand with Jesus into the exciting adventure that 2026 will be.
