LIFEWAY

The Year in Review

We’ve had an amazing 12 months at Lifeway! We have had a clear leading particularly in 2025 to focus on prayer, presence, and power - pressing in for the manifestation of the Spirit’s presence and power in our lives. We are seeing breakthrough, and we thank God for his faithfulness in transforming us by the power of His Spirit to reflect Christ in all we do and say.

A snapshot of this year at Lifeway:

10 Years of Lifeway: We had a great time of thanksgiving and fun as we looked back over 10 years of the church’s journey. We loved having Kerrie Grace and Simon and Sonya Bailey with us.

Family Camp: We had our second family camp at Elim in Foster – it was an amazing weekend filled with fun, laughter, deep moments with the Lord, spiritual scavenger hunts, worship, board games and deeper connections with each other. We are already planning 2026!

LifeYth: We relaunched Life Youth with Aran and Emily Dennis at the helm. We have about 8 youth who have been going through the Youth Alpha course together as well as having some fun social nights.

Lifeway Kids: Our kids ministry also went from being run fortnightly to running weekly and is growing. We are investing into our kids team who are doing an amazing job.

Facilities: We are continuing to rent from the Salvos but have expanded our use to include another two of their rooms for youth and kids and to open up their double hall for the congregation.

Missions: We sent out our first long-term overseas ministry couple to Japan – Jylan and Nathan Pattinson. In November they moved to be part of a new YWAM base in Otaru. As a church we are supporting them financially and spiritually and it’s wonderful to see them flourishing there.

We are loving leading the church alongside an amazing leadership team. Dave also has the role of secretary of the PMMA and President of Rhema Christian radio station here in Port. Caroline is involved in drawing the Pastors of the city to pray together, rallying intercessors around the city, meeting with our Mayor to pray for him, and is also on the CRC NSW/ACT/QLD Executive as Vice Chairperson.

God is constantly faithful, and we have certainly experienced His constant blessing. We continue to lean in close to Him to discern His voice and to press on towards the long-term God-given dreams we hold for Lifeway Church. We are grateful for the continuing support we receive from CCH Eldership, and also from

Kat and Paul, who continue to provide us with great admin support.

Much love,

Dave and Caroline Dennis
