VIVA CHURCH

We have been incredibly blessed by the generosity of CCH’s hospitality this year. Coming out of covid we were up against it in terms of venue. We’re a small church and we were seeking a place that we could worship and gather that was clean and bright and full of the invitation and presence of God.

Out of a conversation with Josh, CCH invited us to use The Hub for our Sunday afternoon gatherings. In short, it’s perfect. In the Hub we’ve found a place where we can put our bags down, unpack and regroup. We’ve just finished up running an Alpha course in The Hub during our gatherings. People have move deeper in their relationships with God and discovered the new life and deliverance of King Jesus.  Venue isn’t what church is about but it sure helps make stuff like that happen. Thanks, Team CCH, for your hospitality, prayer, and patience with us. It’s been such a great reminder of the Body we belong to.

HIVE CHURCH

Several years ago (around 2017) a prophecy was given to our church that we would become a “watering hole for the supernatural”. Worship has always been a high value at the Hive, as too has been the desire that we would be “a church without walls” who exist for a bigger sphere than ourselves. Despite the challenges and disruption of Covid, it’s been exciting to watch how God is starting to bring His dreams for us into fruition.

Earlier this year, we decided it was time to step out in faith, and to launch a monthly worship night, and to position it for the church at large. Given that we currently don’t own a building, the willingness of CCH to share their facility with us has been a very big key at this time. We are humbled to watch the Spirit of God move. Here’s some highlights:

  • God’s presence has been real and tangible,

  • our gatherings typically include a range of church backgrounds, locations, and often unchurched people,

  • our team is blended with musicians and singers from other locations and church contexts,

  • various ministry expressions take place including healings, rededication’s, and restorations,

  • the intercessory team who supports this ministry include those from the Hive community and also the Body of Christ at large,

  • likewise, God has raised up a team of Kingdom advocates from the broader Church who share invites to the worship nights as part of their personal evangelism strategy.

The provision of the venue at CCH meaningfully leverages what God by His Spirit is bringing to pass, and we glorify Jesus for the blessing we believe flows from our collective unity in advancing His Kingdom together.

EBENEZER CHURCH

I sincerely thank God, you, your family, and the members for giving consideration to using CCH. The ministry I could do through the pandemic was very limited. So, when I couldn't hold the morning worship service, I went to Bush and prayed. My previous ministry focused on my relationship with the saints, but now I naturally focus on my relationship with God. Through early morning worship and bush prayer, a new church was established with the vision God gave. Our church name is Ebenezer Church. Ebenezer means “stone of help” and means “God has helped us up to this point.”

God sent people of faith to every important turning point in my ministry and made them pray through a co-worker of faith. It is God's grace and God's help that we have come this far.

What our church is seeking and doing is praying to become a church that practices love for God and love for neighbors. In addition, we are praying to become a church where the Word lives, a church that prays when we gather, a church filled with the Holy Spirit, and a church that spreads the gospel. I am praying to unite with the church across denominations to worship together and hold prayer meetings regularly. In addition, we are praying to raise up mature believers through the teaching of the Bible.

Currently, our church is offering early morning worship from Monday to Friday. A member of the church who attended the morning worship confessed that through the morning worship service, he developed a relationship with God and received strength and comfort through communication with God. And said thank you to CCH. Our church's Sunday worship service is from 1:00 pm to 3:45 pm. In addition, they are being recharged and comforted by praising, praying, and fellowshipping with the clergy who are serving the church in a poor environment through prayer meetings on the 3rd week of every month.

Ebenezer Church is grateful to God and sincerely grateful to CCH for providing a space by opening its doors to not only our church, but also other churches. Therefore, I am praying to faithfully carry out the vision and mission God has given me.
