Small Groups

CCH is a Church of Small Groups, where this ministry is recognised as integral to the mission of the Church. We have a large mix of groups at CCH ranging from strong men and women’s groups, to young adults, youth and more. There are 5 essential elements that make up a CCH Small Group:

1. Purpose

All the members meet regularly for a shared purpose.

2. Prayer

We pray for each other, when we are together and in between.

3. Growth

We desire to grow in maturity in Christ. This is most commonly done by studying the Bible.

4. Care

We want to love and care for each other by encouraging, confronting, and carrying each other. We encourage through word and deed, we confront with love and respect, and we carry each other when we are weary and hurt.

5. Revelation

We want to share our lives with people, to be known as well as to know others.

It’s as we surround ourselves with other people, working with them in coordinated purposeful action, that we realise our personal destiny. Trust becomes the critical link as we discover the power of true team spirit, the force of really knowing others and being known by them.
